A young woman who has been suffering from nightmares about the devil is taken on holiday to Las Vegas by her husband in an attempt to help her get over them.While there she is hypnotised during an act at a nightclub and has flashbacks to germany during the second world war where she is witness to the slaughter of some jews by an SS officer, the nasty nazi was infact satan and now many years later he is in vegas as the leader of a satanic cult. Also in vegas is an old nazi hunter who tries to convince a cop (cameron mitchell) that satan really is alive and well and living in vegas so they can put a stop to his evil ways once and for all while all around them people are being killed if they get in the way of old nick and his plans. Its not the most interesting or fastest paced film you'll ever see,but it dose have its moments and has a very effective climax that is exciting and pretty gory as it includes some graphic real life footage of open heart surgery.Allthough this video was never officially classed as a "video nasty", it did make an apperance on many local lists up and down the country in the UK .If it were to be re-released today,the gory heart surgery footage would proberly be missing and i think its safe to say that the sleeve would look rather diffrent.Along with nightbeast this is another one of those titles that i have a soft spot for as it brings back alot of fond memories from those early days of video,its also getting very hard to find now,and is becoming quite collectable.
