Paul Naschy stars as a drifter,who is also an ex-convict and who suffers from violent dreams where he strangles women. He is travelling around the country looking for work and while hitch-hiking along a road he is picked up by a young woman and ends up back at her house that she shares with her 2 sisters.Soon after there are a series of murders in the local village where all the victims are blonde haired girls who have had their blue eyes gouged out.Naschy becomes the prime suspect and sets out to uncover the real killer before the local police catch up with him.As with most of Naschy's films its hardly an oscar winner,in fact its pretty poor in just about every department but i actually like this film and find it quite fun to sit through.There is a very nasty scene involving a real life pig having its throat cut which i could have done without,but if you can handle dodgy acting,poor dubbing,silly music and a handful of ok gore effects then check it out.This uk pre-cert video did make a few "nasties" lists up and down the country,along with films like cataclysm,abducted and demented, but despite what you may have heard it was never an official video nasty.Even so,this is now quite a collectable video.You may find it on ebay every now and again but if you want it you will have to bid quite high as it allways attracts quite a few bids.
